Chapter 1 “Hello My Boy” Shadows moving in the night seemed to be alive as they dance along the borders of the walls. My head shot under the covers as if it was some protection form the menacing shadows. Damn I’m twenty-five years old too old for this shit. I build up my courage in the usual fashion, “If you afraid do it anyway.” With that I rolled out of the bed, my feet touched the cold floor. It felt like ice, like it was as cold as the grave. The shadows continued to dance all around me as I moved slowly. With all the pain, a twenty-five-year-old body could muster. My joints creaked and creaked making me feel like an old man instead of a young man. I walked to the mirror and shoved my face in it. I must have been a little hazed from sleep when I looked I swear someone was behind me.
